Blogmas Day 12- My Favorite Way to Have Ham

This is a very simple, delicious way to make a sweet ham for holidays. For this recipe you need a spiral cut ham, brown sugar, pineapple slices, toothpicks and maraschino cherries. Step 1: Throw away whatever glaze your ham came with. Right into the trash. Don’t use this. Set you ham into your size appropriate pan-disposable if you’d like to make your life easier. (There are no measurements in this recipe, just use your heart.) Now you are going to take an ungodly amount of brown sugar and pack it onto the whole outer layer of your ham. You want it to cover the full surface and be just thick enough you can’t see the skin (? probably not the correct term lol). Now you are going to take pineapple slices and cover as much of the ham as possible, holding them down with toothpicks like the above photo. After this, take your cherries and toothpick those into place in the center. Part of this recipe is never knowing what temperature to cook a ham and googling it EVERY SINGLE time- so I want to give you the full experience and let you find that out yourself. Cover ham with foil and cook about 15 minutes per pound. The last 15 minutes remove your foil. Enjoy the most yummy ham.
